This experience in the hotel was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay there. Alfonso and his family are amazing hosts, the job was very chill and varied. Alfonso has in mind so many cool projects to start developing his café and hotel. It was nice to be part of his ideas, I definitely want to get back to see how it develops, the place has a lot of potential. Pacasmayo is also a cool little town, you can surf or learn how to surf. We also went one time to sandboarding with Alfonso who is also keen to do activities. Thank you for everything!

Volunteering at the hotel was one of our favourite experiences.
Alfonso and his parents were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Their doggo Gracia was an absolute sweetheart.
The work was simple and relaxed. Location was amazing, close to everything. Alfonso went out of his way to make plans with us including surfing, learning about kite surfing, sand boarding, movie and pizza nights, watching sunsets and playing volleyball. The hostel is big with washing facilities, hammocks, long pong, foosball, small gym area, bikes and large social areas. Also a cafe developing, fun to see the progress

The family was just lovely and I felt included and at home right away. I was able to surfe almost every day and the work was really manageable! If you reach out to them they are more than willing to help you! The hostel belonges to a lovely and funny family with lots of more family around! Can highly recommended:)).

I had the absolute best time at the hotel! Alfonso & his family are very kind & welcoming! He is also very flexible with work schedule times to allow you to go to the beach/explore the town! The town itself is walkable & the beach is very close to the hotel. Such a great first experience traveling with world packers!

I loved this volunteering experience, I was so warmly welcomed by Alfonso and Claudia. The hours are very flexible, which allows me to go surfing or do other activities on the side. Regarding social media development, the tasks are fairly open; I was able to put my creativity to use and propose a few ideas. The place is very peaceful, it's a wonderful place where one feels good, thank you for everything!

I had a very good volunteering experience at the hotel. The place is very pleasant, especially the room, and you can use the kitchen with total peace of mind🍳. Alfonso and the other people are very kind and always treated me very well 😁. Moreover, Alfonso tries to organize activities or plans and also gives good recommendations to get to know the city. The tasks and activities of volunteering are fairly simple. Pacasmayo also seemed to me to be a very beautiful, quiet, affordable and safe city 🌴.. My experience at Hostel the hotel was very nice. It is a very quiet, welcoming place and perfect for disconnecting and resting. What I liked most was the family atmosphere and the kindness of the family that runs it, always very attentive and willing to help.
I felt very comfortable during my stay and enjoyed the tranquility of the place and Pacasmayo. I would definitely recommend Hostel the hotel to other travelers and volunteers who are looking for a quiet, pleasant place with a truly family-like atmosphere.
