I volunteered in the sky tea house for a week. ngl that was one of the best week in my life. 🥹 i'm started to miss Kojiro (the orange cute fluffy cate that loves everyone 🐈) and Jiro was the best host. his life journey was amazing. we cooked together, catching sunsets on the big rocks over the rice fields, jumping on the trampoline, having the best conversations while drinking some plum wines and chu hi, making teas like matcha latte/ hojicha latte everyday, watching stars, watching movies under the sky every night. everyone should experience this once in their life. i'll def come back ❤️

My experience at the farm Teahouse was wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the natural surroundings were breathtaking. I learned a lot about the farm and rice processes, and we spent some incredible days enjoying delicious meals, playing board games, and sharing travel stories. I volunteered for 2 weeks at skytea house and I had the most incredible two weeks! Not only is the location absolutely beautiful but the people that come here are just amazing. Jiro has so much knowledge and passion for tea farming and it was so fun to help him on his farms. The work was very light, mainly preparing rooms, cleaning up after meals and just general housekeeping. This allowed for plenty of free time to go on lovely walks, tea pick or go to small trips to local towns. Thankyou Jiro and Koji the cat for an unforgettable volunteer experience, I hope to return some day soon :) !

I spent one week at the teahouse and it was exactly what I needed. Away from city in a small village in the countryside with just the farm farms, hills and an amazing cute cat around you. You get to enjoy a lot of the farm, we also made our own and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
We helped with simple housekeeping tasks but we mostly had free time. I met a lot of different guest and also volunteers and had very interesting conversations about traveling and culture in different places.
You have a kitchen with everything you need and you often cook together. I really enjoyed my stay! Thank you so much

We stayed one week at Jiro's the farm. The place was stunning, very peaceful and with amazing views to enjoy. We loved the very friendly cat Kojiro and meeting other guests and volunteers.
We expected a better communication with Jiro about the work, the activities and the farm fields which we only worked in once. The house is a beautifult traditional Japanese house but the confort of the facilities can be surprising especially the bathrooms and kitchen. Moreover we felt like the experience looks more like a guest experience than a volunteering experience since the price is a bit high.
