Such a lovely place to stay, not only are the people lovely and the hours flexible, the nature and animals make this place incredibly calming. Helping out here really takes you away from the hustle and bustle of big cities and helps you to reflect and learn about living organically and help lovely Laura and the team around thethe guest house and the vineyards and other travellers staying. I recommend coming in September for an awesome experience of harvesting the grapes :)

This was an incredible experience I'll hold on to forever. It was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't imagine doing it anywhere else. Not only is the vineyard such a beautiful place to be able to stay, but Laura also made the experience even more perfect. She cares about each and every one of her volunteers, and because of that I'm leaving this place with a heart full of memories. I stayed here for 3 wonderful weeks, and my days working were set out clearly, and Laura is so flexible with your days off. I will always hold such love for this place🩷

My stay atthe guest house Cormeil-Figeac was so special. From day one, Laura and the team were amazingly welcoming and made me feel like part of the crew right away. I loved how every day had something different to offer - one day we were painting or cooking together, and the next we were out in the fields picking fruit and harvesting grapes. It was such a fun, hands-on way to experience vineyard life. During my free time, I loved relaxing by the vines, taking a swim, or hopping on a bike to explore Saint-Émilion. I'm leaving with so many great memories and 100% recommend this.

I was at Cormeil Figeac for two weeks and I had an incredible time! Laura herself was so open and welcoming, I felt right at home. She communicates her expectations to you well and wants you to do the same. She really is flexible, she wants you to enjoy your time there, as well as your time off. The regular work was pretty easy, and every now and then we would have something interesting sprinkled in there like picking berries or planning athe guest house event (so fun by the way). This was my first time volunteering and I genuinely don't think I could've chosen a better place! 100% recommend!!

By far my favorite Worldpackers experience! My partner and I stayed for a month and both agree this was a very special place. The environment is wonderful and very relaxing. Everyone that works in the winery is very friendly and welcoming. The work is chill and Laura is very kind and understanding host. We couldn't be more grateful to Cormeil-Figeac for giving us such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

My first Worldpackers experience felt like a dream come true. I loved everything about the guest house Cormeil Figeac. Laura is direct, approachable, flexible, and appreciates proactive volunteers with a good attitude. The shared guest house-style rooms were comfortable, and the other volunteers welcomed me from day one. I made friendships I hope last a lifetime. The location is incredible, surrounded by vineyards, 15min bike to Saint-Émilion and/or Libourne, and 30 min train to Bordeaux. You can do lots on your free time taking the bike. I recommend this place without hesitation!

I couldn't have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience! I made amazing memories and met so many kind and welcoming people from different backgrounds. Everyone I worked with was hardworking and incredibly kind, and even with language differences, it was still easy to connect and learn from one another. Working for Laura was an absolute pleasure. She is kind, understanding, flexible, and very easy to communicate with. The work is manageable and flexible as long as you communicate and complete your hours. Overall, I truly loved my experience and highly recommend it!

This was my first WorldPackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one, the area of the hostel itself is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and the hours are respected. Laura is super flexible and will communicate everything clearly, if you ever need anything just communicate, she's the greatest boss ever. I will forever cherish the long nights cooking together with the other volunteers while sharing stories and having some wine. The hostel is not located in the main city but they provide bikes so it's perfect! Honestly, I couldn't recommend it enough!
