Collaborating with the school was an unique experience. Teaching the kids was truly emotional: being part of and contribute to their future. Miss Lan Anh and Julius are great hosts that make you feel at home long away from it.
Since this is a language center, most of the classes will happen at the end of the afternoon. There is plenty of time during the day to explore the surroundings, including the city center of Hanoi. Adaptability is key to eventual changes in the schedule. This is most likely caused by a shift in class attendance due to last minute cancellation from the part of the parents.

I stayed at the school in Hanoi from March 29 to April 27. I taught English ~2 lessons/day, 5 days/week; tasks matched the description. The schedule can change last minute, so flexibility helps. Accommodation was great (private room, good Wi-Fi), and food was included with lots of tasty local options. Ms. Rose and Julius are kind, welcoming, and supportive. The best part was working with kids — it's easy to connect even without a shared language. I felt safe and respected. Great for those who enjoy teaching and local culture
