20 hours of help per week
Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.
Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.
Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

2 days off per week

As a Marketing & Communications Volunteer at Living Positive Kenya (LPK), you will play a key role in telling the story of our impact and amplifying our voice. Your work will involve creating engaging content, capturing real-life moments from our programs, and helping communicate the transformation happening within the communities we serve.
You will support social media management by developing posts, reels, and campaigns that highlight activities such as Salama School, home visits, and women empowerment programs. This includes photography, videography, writing captions, and sharing powerful stories that connect with our audience and inspire action.
In addition, you will assist in promoting fundraising campaigns, volunteer programs, and events through digital platforms, email communication, and creative materials such as posters and newsletters. You may also help respond to online inquiries and engage with our growing community.
This role is hands-on and purpose-driven, giving you the opportunity to combine creativity with impact while working closely with the LPK team on the ground.
Create and schedule social media content (posts, reels, stories)
Take photos and videos of LPK programs (Salama School, home visits, WEEP, etc.)
Write engaging captions and impact stories
Support marketing campaigns and fundraising initiatives
Design posters, flyers, and digital content
Assist in managing emails and newsletters
Respond to messages and engage with the online community
Document daily activities and success stories from the field
Support website updates and content uploads
Collaborate with the team on creative ideas and communication strategies
