🏢🎈 Light volunteering in Rio de Janeiro's West Zone
The experience
🔎 I am looking for a volunteer to help organize an apartment. The location is in Campo Grande, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro's West Zone, about 60km from the city center and the main tourist area. (yes, this city is huge, haha). Even though it's far, that doesn't prevent you from getting there. Since the help is quite basic, there will be plenty of flexibility. 🌿

Program Details
The goal is to offer a lighter option for volunteering, whether you're seeking your first opportunity or you're already experienced and need a little more calm and flexibility. Remember that this is only help and that you will not be turned into a domestic employee, as I also perform household chores.
Activities & Shift
ACTIVITIES
You will assist with general services, such as washing dishes, keeping the rooms clean and taking out the trash as needed. Collaboration is required in five of the six rooms in the house.
SHIFTS
The workload for this volunteering is 16 hours per week. The suggested schedule is 4x3, so the period of collaboration does not exceed 4 hours per day. The days off can be consecutive or alternating; you can choose according to your needs.
Rules
BREAKFAST
You prepare your own breakfast. During the volunteering period, items will be provided so that you can make your meal. The items will be basic and the same items will be listed in the questionnaire of the next step, so you can suggest substitutions or include notes if you have any dietary restrictions or for any other reason. The items will be provided in sufficient quantity for the entire period of contribution, but it is up to you to ration them in the most convenient way, being aware that replenishment is not guaranteed, with only what is available in the pantry at hand.
OTHER MEALS
The remaining meals are at your own expense. At the moment I cannot cover all daily meals yet, so you will have to buy and cook what you will consume.
LAUNDRY
The washing machine, detergent and fabric softener will be available for use. You only need to inform the use in advance so that it does not coincide with the times I need to wash clothes, given that the space on the drying rack is limited and cannot accommodate many pieces.
SCHEDULES
There are no set hours for you to complete your shift, nor for entering and leaving the house, except on the day of your arrival, which can only occur at the time I am at home to welcome you or available to meet you somewhere. Outside of that, since there will be total flexibility of schedules, you are free to leave whenever you wish and return when you can arrive.
INTERRUPTION OF VOLUNTEERING
The maximum period of collaboration is one week, but if you need to interrupt volunteering before the requested date, there is no problem as changes of plans can happen and better opportunities may arise.
