I had a great experience volunteering at the hangout! the hostel is new, so everything is in great condition, and Saimir is an awesome host who is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. The work is simple and fair, giving you plenty of free time to explore the surrounding area. Sarandë is a small coastal town, and personally, I absolutely loved this vibe. It was a great place to slow down, enjoy the beaches and experience Albania. The only thing to note is that there isn't a separate volunteer dorm, so volunteers share a dorm with guests. Very nice experience! Saimir is a very kind and flexible host, tasks are very light and hours always resoected. Sarandë is a small but beautiful town with a little bit of everything for everyone 🌅🏞 the hostel, beds and appliances are all brand new and for me that is a true luxury! I would comeback here for sure 👌🏼☺️

It was really a great experience , where I met Saimir who is an incredible person. Kind, funny, human and good person. Its place is incredible , it is positioned in the heart of Sarandä, everything is close and it is also safe. I connected a lot with your place , we created a beatiful atmosphere with the guests, combining work and spending time together. the hostel is very comfortable to rest, the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room very clean since it is a very new place. I leave satisfied since I learned a lot with him and I would love to live the experience again.

I had a wonderful time in Sarande. Saimir is a wonderful host. He cares about the volunteers and communicates responsibilities on time so everything was very well coordinated. The property is small so the tasks don't take longer than they should. Sarande is beautiful with lots to do and groceries are not too expensive. I do wish there was a washing machine on the property though because the laundromats were pretty expensive. But I'm sure this is something that will improve as the property is still new.

The work itself is straightforward and matches the listing. Given the hostel is new and people have different ideas, tasks and expectations did change throughout my stay. All shifts were 5 hours and split between 3 volunteers for cleaning and reception. Very well located to go and enjoy the city

Honestly, my experience as a volunteer at the youth hostel in Albania for 2 months was the best experience of my life 🥹❤️ I made a lot of progress in English, met lots of amazing people and lived so many moments I will never forget. And above all, a huge thank you to my manager Saimir, who was just incredible from start to finish, always available, kind and attentive! I could redo this experience 100 times without hesitation. If you are hesitant to take the plunge, go for it!! I recommend this experience 100% 🫶🇦🇱
