It was really cool to see how much reforestation/restoration has been done. It's a very beautifulthe reserve, and the reservewas such a kind and welcoming host. Tasks were fairly light, and the rest of the time I was able to explore and relax.

Had a treat time here! Victor is a legend so it was really cool meeting him and hearing his story. Our host the reservewas very chill and friendly as well. Tasks were pretty easy and we had tons of free time to explore thethe reserve. I highly recommend doing this if you are a digital nomad, if you are just here on vacation it is a bit hard to do activities or get places from the location.

I had an amazing time volunteering atthe reserve. I learnt so much about the Amazon and had the opportunity to spot so many different animals inthe reserve's lodge and private forest. the reservewas so welcoming and gave me simple tasks to carry out. The rest of the time was mine to explore. I met a local indigenous family and learnt about their medicinal plants and culture, I did a tour alongthe reserve river and enjoyed many night expeditions through the private forest. All in all it was great! It's an amazing way to explore the Amazon on a budget. Thank you! I'd love to return!

AMAZING! the reservewas a great host. Her and Victor are the sweetest people. Very accommodating to any requests we had, as well as answering our questions. They truly care about the environment and it is evident in their practices. I enjoyed learning about the reserve, its history, what it has to offer is beautiful. The tasks were simple, and I like that it contributes to the greater cause of restoration andthe reserve. Facilities were good, and overall I got to learn about Peruvian food, explore nature, and bond with locals and fellow travellers. There is also a good work/ relax balance!

The reserveand her family were so lovely and welcoming for the week that I stayed with them. The property is set in the most gorgeous location, and has private access to their part of the rainforest! The jobs were easy and enjoyable, and the reserveoften joined me when doing them! I had lots of free time to explore the property and jungle, and to relax! If you are looking for a relaxing break from travelling around, this is the place to go ☺️☺️

My experience at Kerendala reserva was truly special. Kerenda is an amazing person with a huge heart, and from the first day I felt like family. The property is lovely, surrounded by nature and animals everywhere. The work is flexible and depends a lot on what you like to do. I recommend this experience to everyone who wants to connect with nature and have an adventure. This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this beautiful project.

The reserve's refuge really feels like an oasis a short distance from the center of Puerto Maldonado. If you’re looking to connect with the jungle, this beautiful, tranquil, and well-kept place is for you. The volunteer, as such, is relaxed. My tasks during my two-week stay were simple domestic tasks, weeding the garden area, and contributing to environmental education activities. I left wanting more activities related to the biological field such as wildlife monitoring and planting. Many thanks to the reserve, Don Victor and Lola for sharing their wild forest with other people!

A beautiful and rewarding experience. It was my first time volunteering, and K'erenda supported me in everything and helped me integrate.
She and Mr. Victor carry out a very important outreach work in the Private Conservation Area, and being able to contribute my grain of sand was very rewarding. The volunteer work is very flexible and fairly light, although it differs a little from the app's description, as we do not carry out many wildlife monitoring activities and at the moment they are not doing reforestation.
Highly recommended if you want to connect with nature.
