Program Details
Logose Charity Foundation is a community-based initiative in Uganda focused on supporting vulnerable children through education, care, and daily support. Volunteers join us to assist with basic teaching, organizing activities, and spending time with the children.
A typical day includes helping with lessons, playing with the children, and supporting simple daily tasks. We promote cultural exchange, teamwork, and a friendly environment where volunteers can share skills and learn from the local community.
No special qualifications are required just a positive attitude, patience, and willingness to help. We aim to create a meaningful experience for both volunteers and the children.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers typically help for 4–5 hours per day, 4 days a week.
Activities include:
• Assisting with basic teaching (English, reading, simple lessons)
• Playing and engaging with children
• Helping organize games and creative activities
• Supporting daily routines at the center ie providing meals
Shifts are flexible and usually take place in the morning and early afternoon, leaving free time for rest or exploring the community.
Rules
• Respect all children, staff, and fellow volunteers
• Maintain a positive and supportive attitude
• No drugs or excessive alcohol use
• Follow local culture and dress modestly
• Be punctual and committed to agreed schedules
• Always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children
We aim to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.
