Program Details

Our hostel is a cozy, social, and welcoming place located in the heart of Tirana. We host travelers from all over the world and aim to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where guests feel at home.

As a volunteer, you will become part of our small international team. You will help with daily hostel operations while also having plenty of free time to explore the city, meet other travelers, and enjoy Albania.

Previous experience working in a hostel, hotel, or other hospitality environment is required. We value responsibility, good communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member. We will provide training during your first days to help you become familiar with our hostel's routines and standards.

This program is ideal for people who enjoy interacting with others, working in a team, and creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for every guest.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers work 28 hours per week.
The main responsibility is working at the reception, where volunteers help ensure guests have a pleasant and smooth experience. Daily tasks include:

Welcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outs.
Answering guests' questions and providing information about Tirana, transportation, and local attractions.
Responding to messages and assisting with reservations when needed.
Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Helping maintain the kitchen and common areas throughout the day.
Assisting with laundry (bed linens and towels) when necessary.
Supporting the team with other daily hostel operations as needed.

Shifts are scheduled in advance and may be in the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on the hostel's needs. Volunteers are expected to be reliable, friendly, and comfortable interacting with guests from around the world, as the reception is the heart of the hostel.
