me and my friend stayed 3 days with sara and miguel and loved our time there.
their house is surrounded by their huge land and is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (in the mountains, with little civilization near) and everything's terribly pretty. it is a great place to reconnect with nature, sort out your mind and to just enjoy the moment.
they are extremely nice and caring people who took us in very spontaneously and cared about us when one of us was sick.

While backpacking we spent 3 days at the project and felt very comfortable and welcome. our tasks were as described and with a dynamic schedule. sara and miguel were welcoming to our ideas and perspectives and never left us stressed to finish a task fast - we were able to work in our own pace. we feel this project has a lot of potential and the hosts have valuable mindsets, a great drive and vision for it to grow. we would have loved to stay longer with this caring and interesting family and their project. thanks so much for this enriching experience <3 highly recommended!!!

They have been kind people, always attentive to the needs that arose and the communication has been incredible. We had the opportunity to go hiking, to accompany them to the beach and to share enriching conversations where we learned more about their culture and customs. We had a very wonderful experience with them. They welcomed us with a lot of warmth and were always concerned that we were well, both during the work and during our stay. We slept very well, ate excellently, and they gave us everything we needed to be able to work in the best possible way. We were able to contribute to the construction of the dry toilet, and the tasks were well organized. Sara and Miquel were wonderful hosts for me and my brother Lucas. We immersed ourselves in their lifestyle, so connected with nature and self-sustainability... in this place of strong and charming energy that is the proyeto dos Ventos! The work was very flexible: agricultural tasks such as gathering firewood, planting some plants, helping to assemble a small shed... and also, as it was the season, we harvested olives. Thank you for these beautiful moments with you, dear Sara, Miquel and Olivia! A traveler’s hug!
