This was an amazing experience! As my first time volunteering I learned and enjoyed a lot. Sorangel, Nairobi, Miguel and all hosts were lovely, welcoming and willing to help. The place is very quiet and perfect to connect with nature, internet connection is limited but for me it wasn’t a problem because I didn’t need to be always connected.
Locals were very kind and help us to know more about the place.
Tasks were clear and easy. Miguel prepared a Cacao activity for the team but unfortunately I had to left the place earlier. Looking forward to collaborating again! It was more than I expecte.

Our experience at the camping has been wonderful. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment, the schedules and conditions were met. The group of volunteers was beautiful and in addition to the tasks at the place itself, we carried out tasks with real impact in the city. From here we were also able to visit beautiful beaches, the river, and connect with nature. Thanks to everyone at the camping (Miguel, Alejandro, Sorangel, and all the staff) for making us feel at home.

I've met some really great, hardworking, and respectful people.
They welcomed me with open arms, very happy and always willing to help with whatever I needed.
Without a doubt I've learned a bit of everything and I've reconnected with nature after so long.
The campsite is growing little by little, so you'll always find something to improve; the ideas you suggest to Miguel will always make him happy and he will do whatever he can to get you what you need.

A quiet place in the forest, away from cities and 5-6 km from the beach. Ideal for those who wish to isolate themselves and connect with nature. The camping is starting, so you can express your skills and creativity with flexibility. Miguel was not at the camping, but followed our activity through video cameras. He is open to hearing your ideas and will always want the best for you. You will have a fully equipped kitchen and food to be able to cook freely. We wish the best for the camping and we will return soon :)

I had a good experience at the camping site. Happy to have been part of this project that is starting and has a lot of potential. Pros: - The creativity of the volunteers is infinite; you can contribute in many ways. - The schedule is flexible. - Miguel helped me from before entering the country with invitation letters and general guidelines to move around. - There is always food to prepare. To improve: - The concept “eco” is in development, waste management is lacking. - Personally, I did not feel comfortable with the installed video cameras. Very grateful to have left my small contribution. Thank you!
