About the Experience

I live in the beautiful Charente region (16140) and I’m looking for helpers to join me in bringing this lovely old château back to life 🌿🏰.

25 hours of help per week
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.
Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

I live in the beautiful Charente region (16140) and I’m looking for helpers to join me in bringing this lovely old château back to life 🌿🏰.
You’ll help with a variety of tasks, from feeding the donkeys and other animals 🐴🐓, to painting 🎨, gardening 🌱, and supporting small renovation projects.
I enjoy growing my own organic vegetables and recently planted an orchard 🍎🍐. There are plenty of other exciting projects where your help will be appreciated!
Previous volunteers have shared wonderful moments here, many becoming friends and returning multiple times 😊.

🐴 Feed and care for animals: 2 horses, 4 donkeys, 5 chickens, 6 ducks, 3 dogs, 2 goldfish
🌱 Gardening and orchard care

🧹 General support around the château
Hours: 5 hours per day, weekends off
