You will be housed in our forest cabins, a few steps from the main building, and you will have access to a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom located away from the groups. We strive to preserve the tranquility and privacy of our guests, while also offering participants a calm and pleasant space.
A grocery shopping will be arranged with you before your installation so that you can be well settled upon your arrival.
The requested work will mainly include:
- grounds cleaning (weeds, leaves, branches, pebbles)
- restocking firewood (split, transport and tie)
- trail cleaning
- cleaning ditches (leaves and branches)
- sanding and staining of wooden patios and steps
- maintenance of fruit trees
- housekeeping between groups
- participation in the creation of a water basin
Some tasks are more physical, notably the transport of stones, wood and earth boilers. It is therefore necessary to be comfortable with manual work and in good physical condition.
The village of Sutton is about 8 km from the property. It is generally quite easy to find carpooling.
We ask participants to respect the quiet of the place, the privacy of the groups, the agreed hours, as well as the cleanliness of the spaces made available to them. The cabins, the kitchen, the living room and the bathroom must be kept clean and in good order.
The use of tools and spaces must be done with care and according to the instructions. Disrespectful behavior, excessive noise, abusive alcohol consumption, drug use, as well as any attitude that harms safety, work or the tranquility of the place are not accepted.
