Welcome to our family-run language centre and three-storey homestay in coastal Vietnam! 🇻🇳
We're expanding our digital learning resources to help our ESL students continue practising outside the classroom, and we're looking for a creative volunteer to help bring our lessons to life through engaging video presentations.
You'll turn our lesson notes and information into clear and engaging video presentations for our online learning portal. We'll provide the educational content and scripts, while you bring your creativity to the design and presentation. Depending on the lesson, we'll either provide the audio or you'll use a text-to-speech tool to create it from the script provided.
By combining audio with engaging presentation slides, you'll help students follow along, take notes, and review key information outside the classroom.
Your work will give our students another way to continue learning and practising at home. 📝
🎥 Your Role
Your main responsibility is creating engaging educational video presentations to support our English lessons.
This includes:
📝 Designing presentations: Turning our lesson notes and information into clear, engaging slides that are easy for students to follow.
🎙️ Adding audio: Pairing your presentation with audio provided by our team, or creating a voiceover using the script we provide and a text-to-speech tool.
🎨 Bringing your creativity: Applying your own design style while working from our lesson materials and guidance.
📚 Creating 3+ videos per week: Helping us continue building our digital learning resources.
🕐 Your Schedule
You'll volunteer 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, with flexible working hours to suit your schedule and creative workflow.
Our teaching team generally has Mondays off, but you can choose your own days off depending on your schedule.
🏡 Life at the Homestay
Outside of your volunteering hours, your time is yours to enjoy. You'll stay in our three-storey homestay, sharing a volunteer dorm and enjoying three meals a day, with a quiet workspace available if you're working remotely or have your own projects.
Relax on the rooftop, explore local cafés and beaches, learn some Vietnamese, or practise riding a scooter. You can also join the community for games, karaoke, mountain picnics, or trips to Mui Ne.
