Program Details
The volunteer program of the Orthodox Church of Kenya offers a unique opportunity to participate in a living mission and community service. Volunteers are involved in educational programs, charitable actions, health support, and parish life, working closely with local communities. Through this experience, faith, intercultural understanding, and meaningful service to others are cultivated.
Activities & Shift
As a volunteer, you will experience a meaningful daily life of service: teaching and guiding children, supporting orphanages, distributing food to vulnerable families, participating in catechesis, and playing an active role in parish life. Each action has an immediate impact. Shifts are flexible (4–6 hours per day), morning or afternoon, allowing you to contribute meaningfully while getting to know the place and its people.
