Program Details

Community is our number one priority. We ask for a three-month commitment as it takes time to train our volunteers and get them used to teaching! We want you to make close connections and really get to know your students and fellow teachers!

Activities & Shift

In exchange for free, beautiful housing located only five blocks from the school, you'll act as an assistant English teacher. Using your native speaker knowledge and lived experience, you'll play games with our classes, have conversations, teach them slang, and practice pronunciation.

Rules

In order to properly learn, students must feel comfortable enough to speak and ask questions. Teaching experience is appreciated, but coachability and an open mindset is more important! We're looking for patient, kind volunteers who focus on community and creating connections!
