Rules
Rules of the House for Lighthouse Hostel Volunteers
Welcome to Lighthouse Hostel, a project we are building with a lot of effort and dedication. As part of our team, it is essential that we all respect some basic rules so the hostel runs in the best way and everyone can enjoy a pleasant environment.
1. Punctuality and responsibility
Fulfill the assigned shifts: Be punctual at the scheduled time for each task (reception, cleaning, etc.). Punctuality is key to the good functioning of the hostel.
Commitment to tasks: Each volunteer has assigned responsibilities that must be fulfilled seriously. If you can't meet your shift or task, please give advance notice.
2. Respect for the space and others
Keep common spaces clean: Make sure the common areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom, etc.) are tidy and clean after use.
Respect for others' rest: Avoid disruptive noises, especially at night. The rest of our guests is essential for the hostel atmosphere.
Communicate in a respectful manner: Maintain a kind, respectful and open attitude with both the team and the guests.
3. Use of space and facilities
Care of the facilities: Take care of the furniture and common spaces. The hostel is a shared place, so it's essential to treat objects and spaces with respect.
Access to restricted areas: Only enter areas assigned to volunteers. If you need to access other zones, make sure you have the corresponding authorization.
4. Schedules and teamwork
Respect work shifts: Volunteers have a fixed schedule that they must respect.
