It was a wonderful experience living with the home and her family in Ottiglio, Italy. It's a small town so you get to learn about life in rural Northern Italy. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy and that we got to explore nearby towns and go on the weekends to the nearer cities (Milan, Turín, Genoa). The apartment that I stayed in was very spacious and had everything I needed, including my own bathroom and kitchen. The three girls are sweet, and they try their best to communicate in English, but I definitely recommend learning some Italian before going. I had a great time!
