My experience at the hostel was amazing! Since day one everyone was so welcoming and open to answer any of my questions. The tasks are easy and fun, since most of them are social, so it is the perfect place to go if you want to Connect and get to know other travellers and volunteers. They gave us two free days and always asked us in advance if we had any preferences, so we could organize little trips in advance. Overall, I would totally recommend being a volunteer here :)

The hostel was an incredible experience for me. I stayed for a little over three weeks but honestly wish I could have stayed longer. The staff it's amazing, everyone it's so friendly, welcoming and open minded, always willing to help and make you feel comfortable. You get to meet hundreds of people from all the world and it's really easy to make friends. The experience with the other volunteers was also amazing, I feel like I've made friendships that will last a lifetime. Without a doubt this is an experience I would repeat, I'm si grateful for the time I spent there 💗

Volunteering at OBG was one of the best experiences of my life! The reception, bar and housekeeping staff were all beyond kind and I got to meet so many amazing locals and travellers. The work felt more like a chance to socialise and connect people, and Myka was so flexible with shift schedules. Every single shift was fun and different and I loved that we had freedom with activities (i.e. gelato strolls, cooking classes). I can't recommend the hostel more to anyone, truly once in a lifetime and I feel like I found family forever here. Definitely coming back next year!!

I had the most wonderful volunteering experience with the hostel. I was so sad to leave at the end of my time in Milan. What made this place special for me was the people that I met there. The jobs you'll do vary day by day, but I always found my work enjoyable. My time there was amazing because of the girls I was volunteering with, the travelers I met, and the relationships I built with the hostel employees. It had its ups and downs, but I learned a lot and won't ever forget the hostel. I'm sure I'll visit again in the future.

I had the best time at the hostel! Since day one, they welcomed me with open arms and lots of energy! The work hours were respected, they took into consideration which dates I wanted to have off to visit other places, and the work itself was really light, fun, and enjoyable! I got the opportunity to meet some amazing people, both locals and international travelers, but the highlight was definitely the staff at the hostel! Wow – what an amazing first volunteering experience! I felt so welcomed by the staff and the other volunteers from the moment I arrived. The shifts were quite relaxed, and it felt more like taking your own initiative rather than having the staff tell you exactly what to do. I also found this experience to be a great way to connect with other international travellers, especially through organising activities like walking tours, pool trips, and yoga sessions. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this experience to other travellers!
