This was the most amazing experience! Kurina and her family were the most welcoming family ever and felt like I was apart of their family from day one! It was amazing being able to experience teaching English to kids who are the sweetest and kindest children I’ve ever met.This experience was so different from what I’m used to at home, and I’m forever grateful to of had the opportunity for this. I absolutely loved Kurina’s 3 daughters who are the funniest and sweetest girls ever. There was never a dull moment and there was always laughs! Thankyou for having me, till next time 😊❤️

This was my first worldpackers experience and it perfect! Coming straight from the hyper tourism of Bali it felt so amazing to simply be immersed into the real local lifestyle of Kurnia's home in Malang. Her 3 daughters are an absolute pride and joy of this whole thing! They're the sweetest, funniest girls that never leave you with a dull moment. I was at her home with 2 other volunteers and we made such amazing memories together! Kurnia also goes above and beyond to help organise activities like the Bromo tour! If you want to feel part of an amazing family, absolutely stay here!

Before going, I was a little nervous about my first time solo traveling, but I couldn't have chosen a better family to volunteer with. From day one, they made me feel at home. They are genuinely sweet and generous people who open their doors to strangers who end up feeling like family. Their trust and openness taught me how easy and beautiful it is to connect with people when you let go of fears and judgements. Whether it's teaching the kids or sharing stories, what makes this place special is the will to give something of yourself. If you're thinking about volunteering here, don't hesitate!

Our stay with Kurnia and his family was incredible thanks to them. We were able to discover the local culture and had the opportunity to teach English classes in various Indonesian schools. It was truly a wonderful experience. I want to thank Kurnia and her family for welcoming us so warmly into their home and for treating us like members of their own family.

Our experience with Kurnia and her family was amazing. Her three girls, her husband and their cat welcomed us from the very first day as if we were part of the family.
We had the opportunity to visit and teach in several schools, working with children of all grade levels, sharing moments with them and enjoying their eagerness to learn.
We were also included in all of the family's activities, which let us experience the local culture right alongside them. We also spent some time at Zila's, her collaborator, whose family and students welcomed us just as warmly.

This was my second visit here, and somehow it was even better than my first! The whole family have a beautiful way of making everybody feel welcome, and like you have always been a part of their family.
I am already planning my next trip so I can be reunited with these amazing people, and their great cause. You will have the opportunity to really support English language learning in the community by coming here, I cannot recommend more!

This has without a doubt been the highlight of my 6 months travelling. Kurnia, her husband, 3 daughters & of course the cat are absolutely wonderful people. I felt completely welcomed in their home, and have been truly inspired by their project and the work they do. I had the opportunity to volunteer at a pre-school, a secondary school, a disability group and in a whole school programme, all of which were amazing experiences. It really felt like I was at home with this wonderful family, so much so that I am visiting again in a few weeks time! Couldn't recommend more. Terima Kasih 🫶🫶

Beautiful Experience!!! I got to give english and french classes in different structures with kids from all ages and also friends of the family !! It was always so challenging and fun !! The family is adorable, thank you so much to Kurnia, her husband, their 3 daughters and tireng the cat for their warm and amazing welcoming in Malang :) I got to experience the local life, see beautiful places and meet so many beautiful people ❤️ I'm so grateful and would love to come back maybe someday!!! I truly recommend !! Long lasting memories and forever grateful x
