Permaculture in the Cherry Valley
The experience
We are a self-managed project focused on permaculture.
We have a large edible forest with all kinds of fruit trees.
We harvest cherries, olives, blueberries, raspberries...
We run gardening and bioconstruction activities.
We are in Barrado, in the heart of the Jerte Valley, less than two hours from Salamanca or Cáceres, and on the route to Portugal or southern Spain.

Depending on the season, our activities focus on gardening, fruit harvesting, bioconstruction, or maintenance. If during the volunteers' stay we carried out any training, they could participate in it.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers help us 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. They have two days and all afternoons free. We usually work from 9:00 to 14:00, except in summer when we start earlier and finish earlier to avoid the hottest hours of the sun.
