I had a wonderful experience with my host, Gilles. I felt welcomed from the very beginning, in a warm and inspiring environment. I learned a lot during my stay, especially by spending time in the atelier and discovering his sculpture work.
The city was also a lovely surprise: calm, with welcoming people and a very pleasant pace of life. I really enjoyed trying delicious French meals and discovering new places thanks to Gilles.

It was a culturally enriching experience. The host is a creative and welcoming person, with whom I had good conversations during the stay. However, there was a misalignment between the proposed tasks and what was requested in practice. In addition to creating content for social media, there were frequently requests for help related to personal and domestic routines, such as cleaning the house, the car, and the studio, among others. The organization of the routine also limited autonomy and days off, making personal moments and independent outings difficult. I recommend aligning everything before arrival.
