I had a great 5 weeks working at the finca with Peter, Julia and Zoe. It was an amazing experience living on a private beach in my own cabaña, swimming every night in the bioluminescent water and harvesting fruits directly from the trees. The work was physically demanding, but the variety of tasks kept it interesting. I learnt macheteing, fishing and sustainable building techniques. It's definitely not luxury and I took some time to adapt to the environment but the finca is an awesome piece of wilderness and I really enjoyed being part of the project.

This experience is definitely not for everyone, probably only for very independent and resilient people who genuinely enjoy hard physical work and remote off-grid living. Pros: fresh fruits, a warm sea & beautiful beach, free kayaks & snorkeling gear, learning permaculture and island survival skills. Cons: hard manual work in extreme heat, very basic sleeping conditions, constant electricity/water/internet issues, little connection with the host outside work, and expensive transport outside scheduled boats (once in 10 days, approx). For this kind of project, 2 weeks would be ok, 4 is too much.

nice wrap! :) I agree mostly on everything, it is not for everybody and it is demanding. We will be improving tho some stuffs to make it easier. Water actually today I made more or less automatic, will also tune that into future. electricity with Loris we will make lifepo4 bats here to be stable. With starlink it is little tricky, as would require to cut lot of trees, but meanwhile at our place you can enjoy full speed internet. less than 3 weeks we dont do from various reason. Anyway thanks!
