Camilo, Vania and Octavio are warm, open and unpretentious hosts. The house is very comfortable in a green hilly setting. Vania's vegetarian cooking is delicious and nutritious. I helped with digging a trench, gardening, organising, repairs and building a bamboo fence. Camilo is patient and helpful, though not one to celebrate finished tasks, so you might wanna initiate the high-fives yourself :-) Comms in Spanish and English was good, while they speak Portuguese among them. Bring mosq repellent, sun screen and sturdy clothes. Muito obrigado! Your new land will be a slice of paradise

The accommodations were wonderful, with a cozy house and private rooms that gave me a perfect place to relax after a full day. One of my favorite aspects was the fresh food straight from the garden—nothing beats the taste of vegetables you've helped grow yourself! This week was not just a getaway but a meaningful experience that left me feeling inspired and refreshed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, learning, and great company.

We spent 10 wonderful days in the countryside of Guaratinguetá at Ecovillab. A nice community living project where you can participate in the vegetable garden, bioconstructions and the maintenance of the places. You can also enjoy the incredible region with its beautiful mountainous and green landscapes. Do not hesitate to contact Camilo to come participate and learn lots of things. Thanks again to Ecovillab for this very pleasant stay.

My experience with the people of the project and the whole place was wonderful! I worked in their big beautiful permaculture garden where I learned a lot about fruits and vegetables but also about building a house wall out of clay and gras. I would definitely come again!

Volunteering in the project was an amazing experience !! 🤩 Camilo, Leia, Vania and everyone there was so welcoming. My boyfriend and I stayed 3 weeks and it really felt like home 🫶🏼 We had our own room, ate good also and during our free time Camilo made us discover wonderful places in nature around the city 😊 Most of the time we worked in the garden. It wasn't easy but we loved it. Also, hours are very flexible. I really recommand you to go if you want to enjoy the calm of the nature and meet locals ;)

Staying at the project was the best experience we could have asked for! We spent 9 days there, including New Year's Eve, and left wanting to stay longer. Everyone was very nice, kind, and gentle. The food was amazing, the room was very comfortable, and work hours were respected. Every day was joyful. I hope to see you all again soon! Thank you so much!

We loved every moment of our time at Ecovilqb! We felt immediately welcomed by every member there. The accommodation is very comfortable &, we had the most delicious meals during our time there! The work itself was really interesting and it's so lovely seeing the development of the place whilst you're staying. As well as working we also enjoyed a horse ride in the hills that we got to experience with Vania & Leia! Not only that they took us to a jazz festival in a close town and really made sure we had a memorable experience! I couldn't recommend them highly enough and we will miss them.

Camilo was a wonderful host. He is caring, thoughtful, and relaxed. He was very flexible with scheduling work depending on weather, other events, and my own schedule. Camilo even made sure we cut work a bit early on my last day so that I could go see the sunset from a mountain. He really wanted me to have a full experience and I definitely did. The other people living in the house were also very kind and friendly. I became relatively close with all of them and will keep in touch with them. This was my first volunteer experience and I think it was excellent.

Il proyeto è un posto bellissimo e molto tranquillo. Vânia e Camilo rendono l'esperienza molto accogliente. Un grande ringraziamento a entrambi. Se cerchi un posto isolato da tutto nella natura dove lavorare con la terra, il proyeto è il posto perfetto.

Ho avuto un\'eccellente esperienza nel progetto. Camilo, Vânia e Otávio sono persone adorabili e mi hanno accolto molto bene. Lo spazio è circondato dalla natura e molto tranquillo. Le attività sono concordate previamente e gli orari possono essere adattati con preavviso. Ho partecipato al Sarau d\'Inverno in cui diversi espositori locali erano presenti con prodotti regionali, oltre alle attrazioni musicali e agli spettacoli di clown. Camilo ci ha portati in un luogo con una vista ampia della valle, oltre a indicare altri punti nei dintorni. Raccomando a chiunque voglia un ritmo più tranquillo e accogliente.
