Hilary and Stephen (and Humphrey) were incredibly welcoming and kind and hospitable, eager to engage and learn about our culture and and had plenty of suggestions on things to do in the area and places to see. The work was very fulfilling and satisfying, helping them renovate their barn and care for the garden, and we got to learn a lot about the local environment and how people in the community are working to protect it. Great food, great hosts, great work, 11/10, would recommend.

Hilary & Stephen welcomed us well & we loved our stay with them. We had delicious, filling meals and lovely conversation. They asked about our interests to help us have the best experience out sightseeing, even taking us to a few of the places themselves! There's a bus stop a short walk from the home that goes to a lot of the surrounding towns. Loved the caravan! Work was well within our skill range and fun- with plenty of breaks for tea and opportunities to work in the shade. I learned new skills & saw many critters. If you love nature and looking after the small things, this is for you!

Our experience was very good. Hilary was flexible and let us start work at the time that suited us best. The tasks were manageable, and we learned a lot about wildlife, which Hilary loves talking about. Stephen is an amazing cook—we never had the same dinner twice in two weeks! For breakfast-lunch, Hilary provided cereal, milk, fruit, juice, and few canned items, but it wasn't enough to cover the whole week, so be prepared to buy your food. The caravan was a new experience for us, but remember you'll need to refill the water and empty the waste tank. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The experience was excellent. Steve and Hilary are great hosts: helpful, good-humored, and flexible. At first, we had some difficulties with the caravan/trailer setup regarding water use and replenishment, the replacement of the waste compartment, limited laundry washing, and meals. It was necessary to save water and organize the routine since the breakfast and lunch offered are from English culture; they provide dinner, which was excellent. If you are Brazilian and want to maintain your usual meals, you need to buy your own food. Regarding the work, everything was as expected.
