I had a great time at the hostelas part of the bar team! My beginner Spanish was a bit of a challenge at first but many people on the team speak English, so communication was easier than expected. I really enjoyed working at the bar and spending time with the team. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, and the food provided was always really good. Overall, I had a great experience, met lovely people and would definitely recommend volunteering here!

Volunteering at the hostel was amazing! The schedules are respected and the tasks are simple; I volunteered on the rooftop and managed to make amazing friendships and develop my Spanish even more. I made friendships that I will carry with me for life and I hope one day I can return for another season, thank you hostel family! ❤️

I had an amazing experience nothethethe hostel, the team is very welcoming, I felt welcome from the start, I quickly integrated into the bar team, the location of my shift The tasks are very calm: helping with activities, games, organization and cleaning, and the working hours respected. I highly recommend volunteering at this hostel; José and the whole hostel team are lovely; the communication was very clear and easy all the time. Unfortunately I couldn't stay for long, but the work overall is easygoing; if you enjoy talking and connecting with people, it's a good opportunity. There's plenty of flexibility, the location is great, and the hostel is comfortable! I hope to return for another opportunity.

The accommodation and the food provided are flawless. The location in Miraflores is also great. However, in the hostel there is sometimes very little going on and there are few people around. Therefore it was somewhat harder for me to meet new people within the hostel. The work you get is usually boring and you simply have to put in the hours. Without any Spanish, communication is also awkward. Some staff unfortunately don’t speak English, which is why I would recommend a basic level of Spanish.
