I spent 10 days working at the hostel, more specifically in the café. The work was easy because the place is just starting out and we didn't have many customers. I really enjoyed my time there — the staff were amazing, Kush has a great vision for the place, and definitely a unique sense of humour. Everyone made me feel welcome straight away, and overall it was a great experience.

I worked on social media by starting their Instagram from 0 with daily posts, reels and story updates. The hostel is still up and coming so a lot of time was spend brainstorming. Very chill vibe, amazing staff and the breakfast was really good! Best part was definitely the people, the volunteers and staff were amazing, and I had the pleasure of spending Khmer New Year in Siem Reap!

I spent two weeks volunteering at the hotel in Siem Reap and really enjoyed my time. The shifts were short and easy, mostly helping out at the bar and serving guests, which made for a relaxed and social environment. The property was in the process of transitioning from a hotel into a hostel, so the type of work may change going forward. Communication wasn't always clear, which sometimes led to a bit of disorganisation among staff and volunteers. That said, I met some great people and had a genuinely fun experience overall.

The hotel is beautiful. Perhaps I would only recommend a bit more organization and structure regarding tasks, but this volunteer experience allows you to rest, meet people, and enjoy the beautiful city of Siem Reap.

I met some incredible people at my time here and felt very comfortable and welcomed. i felt i was immersed in local culture and learnt from this experience, the hotel is currently being converted into a hostel therefore there is understandably a lack of structure within volunteering but regardless i had a great time with the fellow travellers i met here and would recommend this opportunity to others, particularly when the hotel is fully conformed into a hostel :)

Just loved everything about the place. Tipsy passport is going to become one of the best hostels in SE asia and this is just the start. Would highly recommend everyone to join the team & get an experience here. I have been travelling for the last 2 years, stayed in so many hostels but this one was definitely one of the best.❤️ Ankush is a Great host & his skills in running a hostel is Remarkable, you will learn a lot from him🔥

If I had one word to describe this experience, it would be: lovely 🩷

The tasks were fairly light due to the low season, and we had plenty of free time. The hotel is currently transitioning into a party hostel, so I mainly helped the host by working on ideas for the future of the place. I met the most amazing people there. I truly enjoyed the time I spent there.

Thank you the hostel for letting me be a part of your team! I enjoyed my time here, met some amazing people, and really enjoyed spending my shifts getting to know Amm (employee). Although I enjoyed my time here, the position was advertised as bartending which I didn't get the opportunity to do, so communication and clarity on the role beforehand could be improved slightly. Other than this, thank you Ankush for taking me on, this experience really improved my self-confidence! I had an incredible time in Siem Reap and made some long lasting memories!
