I stayed for 2 months at the hostel with Elisa, even though I only planned to stay for 2 weeks. I felt so welcomed by her and all the employees💜 I got the chance to experience local culture, eat the good, meet the locals and explore Ipoh in a way that I wouldn't be able to do alone. The work is very straightforward and we'll explained so no need to worry. Cleaning, helping in the hostel or enjoying/overseeing night activities like boardgame night! the hostel cat Joaa is adorable and I miss her everyday lol. Just as much as I miss Elisa, you were the best host I could ask for, Im grateful to meet u💜

This is my third volunteering, AND THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Elisa and her staff are absolutely incredible. I had SO MUCH FUN with Elisa, the staff, the other volunteers and the guests. The work is simple and easy, but not boring! Ipoh is an awesome city to stay in with lots of local cheap food, and fun things to do. I came with the plan to stay 2 weeks, and stayed for 1 month! Their hostel cat Joaa is SO CUTE TOO. The accommodation is amazing, Elisa will often give you food, coffee and snacks so I saved so much money. I honestly could talk for hours at how much I loved this place. 100/10 recommend!x

Honestly, it was my first experience and Elisa made it feel like my second home specially the tear dropping good bye. and every time a tenant says “this is the best hostel i’ve been to” draws a smirky satisfaction smile on me. Thank you Elisa for making it happen 🫰🏽

Volunteering with Elisa has been an absolute dream! I stayed 2 weeks longer than I initially booked as it truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a fulfilling experience!!
