Mr. Khamla and his family is absolutely incredible. I Stayed with them as a part of the family. Kids were amazing and eager to learn English. Beautiful scenic view of Mekong riverfront and welcoming Champasak community the school. I enjoyed Vat phou temple tour with host and tasted local delicacies cooked by his wife. They provided me full freedom for curriculum. I would recommend this host for unique local rural experience.

I had an amazing experience at the school. The host family was so kind and welcoming, we felt right at home and the food was fantastic! The children were very quick and so much fun to teach. It is located right by the Mekong river for swimming (or take the ferry across) with beautiful river views. The town of Champasak istelf is so friendly and cozy. There are bikes provided that you can explore the town with. The incredible Vat Phou is also within biking distance (highly recommend). Thank you Khamla, James, Candy, and Vieng for hosting me. It was the highlight of my whole trip so far!
