Olinda is really a beautiful, cheerful and lively city.
The Historic Center is very interesting and full of culture.
Regarding volunteering, the women's room is great and the stay was very pleasant.

My experience at Hostel Divino Carmo was very enriching, I had a true immersion in the local culture. The host has an amazing energy, is very welcoming, respectful, and always fair with the volunteer schedules. The hostel also operates as a vegan restaurant, so during my entire stay I could enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunches, prepared with a lot of care by Dayse and Elaine, who are also wonderful people.
I felt at home, as part of the family, and I am very grateful for everything I lived, carried this experience with me with a lot of care.

Everything was amazing!!! Anania and their family welcomed me really well, after so much traveling I finally felt at home. It was a very good experience, I had a lot of exposure to the local culture and the lunch and breakfast offered were excellent!! I'm going to miss this place a lot.

A the host was a very special and heartfelt experience for me ✨ A Anania, Deise, Elaine, Maria, Geison, Chama are incredible and welcoming people who make us feel part of the family from the beginning. The zero-tolerance policy on harassment made me feel very safe and respected in the space. Regarding the volunteering hours, they were respected, with a kitchen routine that was very dynamic, involving mainly cleaning and juice preparation. But what I carry with me most are the affections, the exchanges and the coexistence with this beautiful family of artists, cooks and poets 🤍

My volunteering at the host was amazing; I was welcomed by Analice, a super cheerful and smiling person who brightens everyone wherever he/she passes, I felt at home. She explained everything perfectly about the duties in volunteering. The service is very calm; I stayed in the host's area cleaning the dishes. The volunteering receives breakfast and lunch every day, which, by the way, are incredible! I stayed in the host’s shared room, which was super good. I met her sisters Deyse and Elaine who are wonderful people! I enjoyed working beside them a lot, without a doubt they will leave a lot of nostalgia!!!!

A Nanya anfitriã é uma mãe , se preocupa sobre o bem estar dos voluntários e isso me pegou muito me senti realmente em casa muito bem cuidado , as meninas do anfitrião llElani e Deise são uma figura um amor de pessoa não tenho nem palavras … vou sentir tanta falta . Sobre o voluntariado e super mega de boa , fiquei no anfitrião pude aprender receitas maravilhosas e o trampo é leve e de boa … o hostel é muito bem localizado perto de tudo mesmo e é claro supeeer recomendo! E é isso 🩵 Nanya , Elaine e Deisi desejo a vocês turuuu de boom hoje e sempre !
