Program Details
Hope Kids Tanzania Volunteer Program is a community-based initiative located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Our mission is to support vulnerable children through education, childcare, creative activities, and community development programs.
Volunteers contribute by assisting with educational activities, childcare, arts and crafts, sports, photography, social media, environmental projects, and community outreach initiatives. The program promotes cultural exchange, allowing volunteers to experience authentic Tanzanian culture while sharing their own knowledge, skills, and experiences.
Volunteers are expected to work approximately 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Working schedules are arranged in cooperation with the host to ensure a positive and productive experience for both volunteers and the community.
Accommodation is provided in our Volunteer House, which offers shared rooms, Wi-Fi access, and a friendly environment where volunteers can connect with fellow travelers and local community members.
Our program values respect, teamwork, cultural understanding, child protection, and community impact. We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and meaningful experience where volunteers can make a positive difference while learning about life in Tanzania.
By joining Hope Kids Tanzania Volunteer Program, volunteers become part of a supportive community dedicated to empowering children, building stronger communities, and creating global friendships.
