I had such a good experience volunteering at the hostel. The owner, Hamish made us feel so welcomed the second we arrived and was always super kind and approachable. The hostel is small compared to others and it made it feel more like a home. The hours are very reasonable and fair and normally we finished very quickly, which would give us a lot of free time to hang out with Nino (the cat). Hamish organises a lot of activities as well which include going out for dinner as well as bbq nights and Sunday roasts! I am so grateful to of been able to have this experience and can't wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at the hostel, it's a small but social hostel which means the workload is minimal and it makes it easy to get along with guests without feeling socially burnt out. There are constantly events during the week which usually always involves seeing and experiencing Kutaisi like the grand bazaar pub crawl, dinner at local restaurants, watching the Kutaisi football team at the local ground and lots more. Hamish is a very accommodating host who makes you feel extremely welcome, and with nino and phrixes the hostel truly feels like home

I had an amazing experience in the hostel! The place itself is small and cozy and the owner Hamish puts a lot of care into making it nice and feel like home. It can be social but also peaceful depending on guests and events. Hamish, volunteers and guests go out in the evenings regularly, organize bbq's or hang out and do other activities. As a couple, we stayed in the basement in a room all to ourselves. I had an unforgettable time, met amazing people and fell in love with the city. I would 100% recommend this experience. I hope I'll come back some day soon, I already miss it. Thank you :)

This is my favourite volunteering place. I loved every bit of my stay so much that we ended up extending. The owner, Hamish & all the volunteers & guests & friends of the hostel end up feeling like family. There's a lot of activities always, where everyone is involved & made to feel at home. The work is super fair and straightforward & leaves you with lots of free time, which you'll probably end up spending exploring or hanging out with the great staff and guests. Phrixus and Nino, the dog and cat of the hostel are the cutest. I would come back here in a heartbeat. I will miss the hostel!
