We offer a calm and comfortable experience in Santa Ana, El Salvador, ideal for someone responsible who enjoys living with animals and keeping a tidy space.
The volunteer will have access to a fairly private and comfortable space inside the property, including spacious bedrooms, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a patio, a workspace, and access to a washing machine for their personal clothes.
The idea is that the volunteer can feel at home and have the freedom to rest, work remotely, or explore the city during their stay.
In exchange for free accommodation, we are looking for support mainly in keeping the space clean and tidy and in the daily care of our dogs, since normally there won’t be another person living in the house during the stay.
The property is divided into two independent areas. In the front part there is a small local business, while the area where the volunteer will stay is much more private and quiet.
Tasks are simple and mainly consist of keeping the space clean and caring for the dogs.
The activities include:
- regular cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas
- keeping the accommodation space organized
- feeding the dogs daily
- changing their water and food every day
- cleaning daily the area where they stay
- spending a bit of time each day to play with them and let them run outside their enclosure under supervision
Once a week a deeper cleaning of the home and the dogs' space is carried out, including washing the patio and its area.
The routine is quite flexible and calm. We also offer 3 days off per week.
We want to maintain a calm, clean, and respectful environment for everyone.
