Program Details
Our volunteer program is designed for people who are looking for a meaningful cultural and spiritual experience, not just free accommodation.
Volunteers will help us with the early development of a peaceful spiritual eco village and wellness space in Jamalpur, Bihar. The project is connected with yoga, meditation, simple living, seva, nature, sustainability, hospitality, and community development.
Depending on their skills and interests, volunteers may support practical work, gardening, cleaning, organizing spaces, basic maintenance, creative ideas, online promotion, photography, content creation, hospitality, communication with future guests, and general project development.
We are still in the early stages, so flexibility, patience, initiative, and a positive attitude are very important. This is a simple place with great potential, and volunteers can become part of something meaningful from the beginning.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers usually help 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with clear tasks agreed together in advance. The exact schedule may depend on the needs of the project, the weather, local conditions, and the volunteer’s skills.
Daily activities may include cleaning and preparing rooms, organizing the space, gardening, simple painting or decoration, taking photos or videos, creating online content, helping with social media, assisting with guest preparation, supporting small wellness-related activities, and sharing creative ideas for the development of the place.
We appreciate volunteers who can work independently, notice what needs to be done, and help with care and responsibility. We always try to keep the schedule balanced, with enough time for rest, personal practice, meditation, cultural exchange, and experiencing simple life in India.
Rules
Volunteers are expected to be respectful, honest, responsible, and open-minded. This is a spiritual and peaceful place, so we ask everyone to maintain a calm and positive atmosphere.
Alcohol, drugs, smoking inside the premises, aggressive behaviour, disrespectful language, and disturbing others are not accepted. Volunteers should respect local culture, spiritual values, simple living conditions, shared spaces, and the privacy of others.
Please keep your room and common areas clean, use resources carefully, communicate clearly if there is any problem, and inform us in advance if your plans change.
We are looking for people who are willing to help sincerely, not only receive accommodation. A good attitude, kindness, flexibility, and respect are more important than professional experience.
