Program Details

Our dream is to live in connection with nature, in a respectful and conscious way: learning from it, taking care of the land and gradually moving toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle. On our farm we have a vegetable garden, a chicken coop, a garden and about one hectare of forest that we are discovering and tending day by day.

We have been lucky to be welcomed by generous people during our travels, and now we enjoy opening the doors of our home and sharing this way of life with others. We like to hear new stories, exchange knowledge and learn from people from different places and cultures.

We are looking for people with curiosity about rural and ecological life, with the desire to collaborate and enjoy an authentic experience in nature. Depending on your interests, your abilities and the projects we have underway at any given moment, you will be able to participate in tasks related to bioconstruction, the orchard, forest care, space maintenance or animals.

At this moment we especially value that people have some prior experience or autonomy in manual tasks, gardening, orchard, DIY, or similar projects. We are at a stage with many projects underway and little time to accompany and teach from scratch, so we appreciate people with initiative and the ability to work fairly autonomously.

More than titles or professional experience, we value attitude, responsibility, respect for shared space, and the desire to get involved in the project.

The accommodation is an independent cabin with a bedroom, kitchen and private bathroom, so that you can also have your space and privacy.

We offer basic foods so that you can cook independently in the

Activities & Shift

At the start of the stay we try to explain the projects well and plan the tasks so that everything is clear from the beginning. We like to organize ourselves in a simple way and speak about things clearly, so that each person knows what is expected and can feel comfortable.

We also try to adapt the tasks according to the experience, skills and interests of each volunteer, so that collaboration is useful and pleasant for everyone.

The activities depend on the time of year, the weather and the projects we have underway. The tasks can vary between the orchard, bioconstruction, maintenance of outdoor spaces, small renovations, forest care, or specific projects of the moment.

We usually try to organize work in blocks and maintain some flexibility, also adapting to the needs of each moment.

We appreciate people with autonomy, initiative and a good attitude, since we cannot always work together all the time.

Rules

• Take care of and leave the spaces clean and tidy, especially the cabin and shared areas. We hope to find the space in a state similar to how it is handed over.
• Notify and communicate if any problem, doubt or change of plans arises. We prefer to talk things clearly.
• Respect nature, the animals and the surroundings.
• Do not smoke inside indoor spaces.
• Collaboration is usually about 4–5 hours a day, normally organized in blocks and planned in advance. We try to adapt tasks according to the skills and experience of each volunteer.
• We provide basic foods for daily use, but special, personal products or concrete preferences will be at each person’s expense.
• We like there to be some autonomy and responsibility in daily life.
• It is important to have valid medical or travel insurance during the entire stay.
• Please use tools, materials and spaces with care, and notify if something breaks or any incident occurs.
• Some tasks are carried out outdoors and in natural environments, so we appreciate acting with prudence and common sense at all times.
• Although we try to create a safe and pleasant environment, each person is responsible for their decisions and activities during their stay.
• We highly value people with a positive attitude, initiative and respect for coexistence.
