Program Details

Glocal Town is a multicultural cultural exchange community located in Eumseong, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. Our program connects local Korean residents, youth, and international visitors through culture, storytelling, food, and creative collaboration.

This is not a traditional volunteering program focused on physical labor. Instead, participants become active creators and community members during their stay.

Volunteers are invited to share their own culture through presentations, cooking, workshops, games, music, storytelling, language exchange, or creative ideas. We believe cultural exchange creates understanding, friendships, and a more connected world.

Our community includes people from over 63 countries living in Korea. Through this experience, volunteers can discover a different side of Korea beyond Seoul and tourist destinations.

Participants may also collaborate on:

Cultural events and culture shows
Social media and storytelling content
Photography and short-form videos
Community activities with local residents
Local exploration projects

The atmosphere is friendly, creative, and community-oriented. We welcome open-minded travelers who enjoy meeting people, sharing ideas, and experiencing authentic local life in Korea.
