The experience was unforgettable! I liked the plan for the week and also the activities at each foundation. Simon and Laura are very accommodating, welcoming and are always open to feedback. Luisa, who accompanied us to many foundations, was great at including everyone and set a great example with the kids. Thank you for all the memories! I recommend this experience to anyone looking for a family feel way of experiencing the culture in the project and want to be involved in some great local social projects. I stayed with a Colombian family and I would highly recommend this option.

I was here for 3 weeks and can't say enough good things about it. The people were warm, friendly, helpful, patient and the hostel was very clean and comfortable. Doing registration work was new for me and they patiently explained everything-it was interesting do. The hours required actually turned out to be fewer than 20 per week, a pleasant surprise. The Spanish lessons included conversations over a wide range of topics, which helped expand my vocabulary. Even the breakfasts and lunches were good. This glowing review is based on various experiences at other sites - this one is indeed special!

I've been part of the project for 7 weeks and it has been a pure blessing! Bucaravoluntours team is so friendly and organised. They really turn my trip into something unique! I've enjoyed spending time and helping in all the foundations. I was always discovering new things and connecting more and more with the amazing people that are part of them! The Spanish classes helped me a lot and I really feel a big progression. The touristic activities were incredible! Outside of the program, the team make sure that you don't leave the city without trying a lot of cultural food, games, dance…

It was a nice experience to get to all the different foundations, and especially the prison had a very good impact on me! Really nice that we stayed at the hostel during the stay and still got a lot of spare time. It was nice to see that both Laura and Simon were so invested in all the different foundations and we meet a lot of nice people. I would 100% recommend because we get a lot of experience that we couldn't had get without the stay.

The stay st Bucaramanga was a great experience. It's a local and authentic city that is developing into a more touristy place which is so nice. The volunteering was perfect in this city, me and my friend loved that we have interacted with local kids and adults, especially in the prison. This volunteer program gives lots of opportunity to see Columbia for more sides than the touristy locations. Laura and Simon is welcoming and so good at helping. 100% recommended

Loved absolutely everything about this experience! Working with the kids teaching them a bit of English and playing games was the highlight. The excursions and cultural activities were also incredible, with something new to look forward to each day. Whether it was hiking just outside the city limits, learning salsa, taking an arepa-making class, or riding the gondola for breathtaking views at Parque Cerro del Santísimo, each experience was unforgettable.Simon and Laura have created a meaningful, and truly memorable program which exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

My whole experience with the project Volunteers was perfect from A to Z. I felt welcomed and comfortable the second I arrived. The whole team puts in a great effort to make everything perfect and honestly it was. Everything was super well organised and all the activities were genuinely fun. I totally recommend to anyone who wants to meet great like minded people and wants to dive in to Bucaramanga. Thank you again to the whole team and all the volunteers had the best week 😘
