I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! May, Beebee and Ken are such wonderful people who made me feel like part of the family from day one. They're kind, welcoming, and so much fun to be around. They also respect your working hours, which makes the experience even better. I especially loved the karaoke nights and had so much fun singing with everyone! I met great people, made amazing memories, and really enjoyed my time there. I'd definitely recommend the hostel to anyone thinking about volunteering, and I'd happily come back!

My time at the hostel was wonderful. I was the Yoga Instructor there and had the opportunity to meet so many international travellers. Thank you the hostel for being my home away from home for 6 weeks!

My experience at Area 81 was truly unforgettable. It gave me the opportunity to do two things I love: teaching yoga and being a social host. The schedules were respected, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. But what made this place special were the people. May, Bee, and Ken, together with the staff and volunteers, created a warm and welcoming family atmosphere from day one. I leave with wonderful memories, great friendships, and a grateful heart. I highly recommend this experience, and I will definitely be back! ❤️🙏

Amazing experience at the hostel! The vibe is super friendly, and the whole team is always there to back you up. Working with them in morning cafe for two weeks was a pure joy, and the days went by way too fast. Definitely a 5-star host!

I had a really good experience here. From the beginning, I felt welcomed and respected, and the environment was friendly and easygoing. The tasks were clear, fair, and matched what was described, and there was always good communication.
I'm grateful for the opportunity, the people I met, and the moments we shared. It was a meaningful experience and I leave with good memories. I definitely recommend this place to other volunteers looking for a positive and genuine exchange.
Thank you for everything.

Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
