Program Details

At Friends of Jesus Ministry, volunteers are welcomed through a structured and supportive onboarding process. Upon arrival, volunteers receive an orientation introducing them to the home, the children, and the daily schedule to ensure a smooth and comfortable integration.
Volunteers are expected to contribute approximately 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Responsibilities typically include supporting childcare activities, assisting with basic educational tasks, organizing recreational activities, and helping with light household duties related to the children’s care. Tasks are assigned based on the needs of the home and, where possible, aligned with the volunteer’s skills and interests.
The program operates in a collaborative and respectful environment that emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and cultural exchange. We host a limited number of volunteers at a time to maintain a focused and meaningful experience for both the children and the volunteers.
We value reliability, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to supporting the well-being of the children. Our goal is to provide a safe, organized, and impactful volunteering experience while fostering a nurturing environment for everyone involved.
