Our daily life is based on sharing and practical learning: we dedicate half a day (4 hours) to caring for the place, then enjoy our free time. It is an opportunity to disconnect from modern rush and rediscover the essential in a community.
Here there is no Wi-Fi, but the 4G connection works very well for any needs. If you need free Wi-Fi, there is a spot 20 minutes away by bike, also ideal for a quick trip to the nearby beach!
The activities vary according to current needs and the season, offering rich and practical training. We dedicate ourselves together to:
🛖 Eco-construction: Sustainable building with stone, raw earth, reeds and wood (earth-straw technique).
🌱 Permaculture and Agriculture: Care of the garden, preparation of the agroforestry, new plantings and harvest of fruits and firewood.
🥗 Community Life: Support in meal preparation and in transforming the products of the land.
The program provides 4 hours per day of active participation, with 2 days off per week to explore the splendid nature and the trails of San Vito.
🤝 Respect for all and reciprocity: The foundation of every peaceful coexistence among us, guests and the surrounding environment.
🔦 Spirit of adaptability: We live in off-grid rural camping style. At night, lighting is present only in common areas (you need to have your own flashlight), we use compost toilets (dry toilets) and in the showers the water is heated by the sun.
🐾 Love for animals: We share the space with kittens, chickens, our dog Arbu and the piglet Margherita.
