We are looking for friendly and energetic volunteers to help guide and support guests visiting the beautiful Belilena Cave in Kitulgala. Our volunteer program is based in the beautiful adventure destination of Kitulgala, Sri Lanka, near the famous Belilena Cave and surrounding rainforest area. We welcome friendly, open-minded, and energetic volunteers who enjoy nature, hiking, cultural exchange, and meeting travelers from around the world.
Volunteers will help us create memorable experiences for guests by assisting with nature tours, hiking trips, guest support, photography, social interaction, and promoting eco-tourism activities. This experience is perfect for people who love adventure, waterfalls, rainforest trekking, and local Sri Lankan culture.
In return, volunteers can enjoy the peaceful natural environment, connect with international travelers, learn about local traditions, and explore some of the most beautiful outdoor locations in Sri Lanka.
Daily activities may include helping guests during Belilena Cave hikes, assisting with tour coordination, welcoming visitors, taking photos/videos for social media, sharing travel information, and supporting general guest experiences.
Shifts are flexible and usually between 3-4 hours per day, depending on guest activities and weather conditions. Volunteers will also have free time to relax, explore Kitulgala, enjoy waterfalls, river activities, and experience village life in Sri Lanka.
We expect volunteers to be respectful, friendly, responsible, and supportive towards guests, local people, and other volunteers. Please maintain cleanliness, respect nature and wildlife, avoid excessive noise, and follow safety instructions during hiking and outdoor activities.
