The experience

This volunteer position entails working in the informal settlement within Nairobi and the rural areas of the western part of the country. The task will involve facilitating mentorship session on sex education to school children, teaching kids about soccer and drawing, teaching local people on business skills, teaching young people how to use computer. Also assist with report writing and photography.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 6 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers have to contribute $ 6 per day towards food and administration cost

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.
