We are looking for an experienced Carpenter or a practical Couple to help us finish building our outdoor kitchen (with a large terrace and a great view) and tourist/volunteer kitchen on our farm in northern Portugal.
By helping complete the outdoor kitchen, you would leave behind a space that will be used and appreciated by everyone living here, future volunteers, guests, friends, and community events alike.
20 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

2 days off per week

We’ll welcome you here at the farm and give you an introduction when you arrive. Once you feel comfortable and settled in, we can start working. In the beginning, there will definitely be a lot to explain and organize, but after this it would be necessary if you could complete the tasks independently.
You can always reach us, either in person around the farm or by phone whenever needed.
Work starts around 7:30 AM (because of the current heat) and usually goes until about 11:30 AM. After that, it’s simply too hot to continue. After that we take a long lunch break until around 4:00 PM until it is possible to work outside again. During the break, you’ll have internet access and can relax in the apartment or work on your own projects.
We'll provide you with food and drinks for breakfast and dinner, but you'll have to prepare and eat them on your own.
We'll make lunch together.
We ask you to help keep the place clean and not leave any trash (also organic trash) random in the surrounding area. Please treat the apartment we provide, as well as our tools and equipment, with care and respect.
