Everybody was very kind, they always made me feel welcomed and they were always open to communicate and make me feel like home. It was a true surprise that the only way to get there is by boat and it was a unique experience. You can enjoy swimming in the lake, do some kayaking, fishing and learning some Albanian as well. You'll learn about the food and the culture. Depending on the day, you'll have to work more hours than the usual, but some other days you can relax and enjoy the nature. Thank you to Marjana and Denise for being so understanding and supportive during my time there🫰

The place is beautiful and you live in and with nature. You should be prepared for flexible working hours, as the workload can vary depending on the number of tourists. It can be a bit stressful at times. In return, I was able to learn a lot about Albanian culture and spent many wonderful moments there. For example, dancing in the rain, eating figs fresh from the tree or going on kayak tours. The food is always fresh and very tasty! And there are always animals around :)

I was made to feel so welcome immediately. These are the loveliest people who made me feel like part of their family and taught me so much about Albanian culture and history. The location is stunning and Marjana takes care of all the logistics of getting to and from the place. I really enjoyed my experience and I'm so grateful to Marjana for everything she taught me and for making me feel so valued.
