A chance to enrich your relationship with nature and more intimately understand gardening and other related work, while living in a sustainable-minded environment based in the raw countryside of the Calabrian mountains.
Ideal volunteers would enjoy a relatively flexible day-time schedule, with the day's tasks beginning between 7am-10am, and fluxating with working in the evening between 7pm-10pm to avoid the hotter hours of the day. Gardening/Land Maintenance/Using tools to assist in movement of materials or assistance in building or repairing some areas. This will be required for roughly 5 hours a day, with 2 days off in the week to explore and hike the surrounding landscape or visit the nearby town that is a 25 minute walk descent.
It would be expected that a volunteer has a good attitude, work ethic, and strong constitution, as some days it can be demanding, but very rewarding if this is the kind of experience you're looking for. This is not a party position, though you will have the chance to enjoy some excellent wine harvested from our vineyard. You are expected to maintain composure and consideration. It is expected that volunteers keep their areas tidy.
