There are three distinct roles. Help with our breakfast, which is made up of homemade breads, couscous, tapioca, orange juice, coffee, milk, chocolate drink, water, teas, homemade yogurt, honey, eggs, seasonal fruits, cheeses and cold cuts. Breakfast is optional; we won’t have it every day, but on the days we do, we will offer breakfast free of charge to the volunteer on the morning shift.
Help with cleaning and organizing our space; we follow a training (to be passed on) that is a reference in Hospitality in Brazil. After completing our training, you will be able to join the Governance team of any lodging worldwide.
Help with the reception, and this role is unique. The inn owner has several books published on hospitality, is a national reference in the field, and, although the space is simple and small, it would not be an exaggeration to say that we have the best reception system in the world (and you will be trained directly by the owner). Volunteering with us in this role will bring you more learning than any university on the planet could provide. You will never again need to look for volunteering or employment in the field; accommodations will be eager to have you on their team after our training.
Two alternating shifts over 5 days, 5 hours each, with two days off in a row per week, distributed as follows:
1 - 06:00 to 11:00 to prepare our amazing breakfast, 100% made at the inn and individualized; when we prepare breakfast for our guests, the volunteer on this shift will be invited to join us. The shift is also responsible for cleaning the kitchen, outdoor area, and guests’ check-outs within your shift. On days when there is no breakfast, the schedule will be adjusted to 08:00 to 13:00;
2 - 11:00 to 16:00 to take care of cleaning and organizing the internal areas and the room, in addition to check-ins, check-outs and reception of the period. When there is no breakfast, the schedule will be adjusted to 13:00 to 18:00.
We do not permit illegal drugs, cigarettes, or external visitors in the inn. Outside the inn, your life, your rules. Because this is a space where constant interaction with our guests occurs, we value good personal presentation.
