Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Yes, we’re on Gili T, one of Southeast Asia’s most famous party islands. You’ll be out every night - leading the evenings in the hostel trying to push bar sales, bringing the energy, encouraging people to join in, and yes—you should genuinely enjoy partying and be able to keep up with the nightlife.
But what makes Gili Pirates different is why we party.
We don’t want to be the loudest or craziest party hostel on the island. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where strangers become genuine friends. Thanks to our small size, every guest quickly becomes part of the family. When people connect, they naturally stay longer, have more drinks together, and create the kind of memories they’ll talk about long time after they’ve left.
Your mission is to read the group’s energy, connect people in a genuine way, and turn a group of strangers into friends. The parties, the drinks, and the unforgettable nights should never feel forced—they should simply be the natural result of creating an incredible atmosphere together. Your schedule is designed to give you the full Gili Pirates experience, from laid-back daytime vibes to unforgettable nights. During the morning or early afternoon, you'll work a 3-4 hour shift focused on connecting with our guests. You'll welcome new arrivals & help guests settle in, and make sure everyone feels included from the moment they arrive. Building these connections early also makes your evening shift much easier, as you'll already know the people you'll be partying with.
When the sun goes down, it's time to bring the energy. You'll host the drinking games, keep the atmosphere alive, and make sure every guest has an incredible time. Expect plenty of socializing, dancing, drinking, and creating unforgettable moments. Your enthusiasm and positive vibe are what make Gili Pirates the place everyone remembers long after they leave.
A strong social battery is essential – and you'll need to recharge it fast!
A plus but not a must: If on top of that you have some nice camera equipment to take some great pictures/videos that we can use for our social media. :)
