Program Details
Maipo Adventure Volunteer Program
The Maipo Adventure Volunteer Program invites people from different parts of Chile and from around the world to experience an immersive mountain adventure, collaborating on a sustainable tourism project located in Cajón del Maipo, at the foot of the Andes Mountains.
Volunteers participate in various tasks including operational support, maintenance of spaces, gardening, environmental projects, passenger assistance, cleaning, and continuous improvement of the tourist infrastructure. In return, they receive housing, the opportunity to live in a privileged natural environment, and the chance to gain hands-on experience in tourism, sustainability, and community life.
Our project aims to demonstrate that it is possible to develop mountain tourism with a responsible approach, incorporating energy efficiency initiatives, gray water reuse, environmental regeneration, and care of the territory.
More than a work-for-housing exchange, this program seeks to be part of a community of people committed to nature, learning, and building a more sustainable future.
Location: Cajón del Maipo, Metropolitan Region, Chile.
Duration: Short- and mid-length stays according to availability and the applicant's profile.
