We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Yoga Teacher to join our wellness centre as a volunteer. Program Details

Daily Teaching Schedule

Morning Session
Pranayama & Shatakarma Session (30–40 minutes)
Breathing techniques for lung health, energy balance, and mental clarity.
Simple cleansing practices (Shatakarma) suitable for beginners and senior participants.
Gentle warm-up and preparatory exercises.

Hatha Yoga Session (60–75 minutes)
Traditional Hatha Yoga focused on flexibility, strength, balance, posture, and joint mobility.
Therapeutic yoga practices adapted for seniors and beginners.
Safe modifications based on individual needs and health conditions.

Evening Session

Meditation & Relaxation Session (45–60 minutes)
Guided meditation, mindfulness practices, and breath awareness.
Yoga Nidra and deep relaxation techniques.
Stress management and mental wellness practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily Pranayama, Shatkarma, Hatha Yoga, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra sessions.
Teach classes primarily designed for senior adults and beginners.
Adapt practices according to guests' physical abilities, age, and health conditions.
Create a supportive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
Work closely with the wellness and therapy team to support guests' overall wellness journey.
Maintain professional standards and ensure safe practice during all sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification or higher.
Experience teaching Hatha Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Senior Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra.
Understanding of safe yoga modifications for older adults and individuals with limited mobility.
Strong communication skills and a patient, caring approach.
Comfortable working in an international wellness retreat environment.
